The amendment to CAR Part 139 introducing the requirement for runway condition reporting (RCR) is effective from 30th November 2023.
Runway condition reporting is a mandatory requirement at a controlled aerodrome when ATC is on watch and Part 121 aircraft are operating.
You must ensure your staff have been trained and are competent to carry out runway surface inspections and complete a runway condition report in the Global Reporting Format (GRF).
